Westbourne Students are invited to Shine!
Over recent years, Westbourne has successfully taken part in SHINE week, where students' achievements are recognised both within school and on the National SHINE website. Unfortunately, due to government cuts, the national scheme is not being repeated this year ... however, we will be running our own SHINE week!
We have a lot of talents within school and this is a real opportunity to showcase these talents and give the many fantastic pupils we have, some of the praise they deserve.
Students and staff are encouraged to bring in work/achievements that they are proud of; it could be work created during lessons, at home, achievements in out of school activities or in extra curricular clubs, and is not restricted to written work ... it can be in any format.
Judging
The judging will take place week commencing 20th June, and the winner will be presented during the Awards Evening on Wednesday 20th June. The judging panel will include Govenors, the Senior Leadership Team, and the Heads of year.
Students are asked to take their work to office of Mrs Powley, the Headteachers secretary.
