Academy Status Consultation
CONSULTATION ON THE POSSIBLE CHANGE OF WESTBOURNE SPORTS COLLEGE TO ACADEMY STATUS
As you may be aware many schools across the country and within Suffolk are considering changing from being Local Authority schools to Academies. The Governors of Westbourne Sports College are also considering this change and wish to hear the opinions of a wide range of stakeholders in the College.
The Governors have produced the attached consultation form setting out what they see as being the advantages and disadvantages of such a change.
The Governors would welcome your views on this. If you would like to express an opinion, for or against the idea or have any questions, please put down your views on the consultation form below and return it to the college by 4th July 2011.
